BRITTANY LONGDON - south orange county school of the arts In 2007, Ms. Longdon was hired as a full time SOCSA & English Teacher and teaches Musical Theater, Dance and Dance Production and coaching Actors' Rep; she'll also be teaching English III. Ms. London has served as a SOCSA musical theatre, acting, dance and vocal coach since 2004 in addition to being a local private vocal coach. She has earned the respect and love of her students, faculty and Dana Hills administration and is the cornerstone of SOCSA performance and dance.

Ms. Longdon has directed several SOCSA productions, most recently VELOCITY DANCE and THE WIZ. She puts in hundreds of volunteer time above and beyond her normal teacher's salary to ensure all SOCSA performances are top notch!

Ms. Longdon is not only a SOCSA teacher, but she is also a SOCSA graduate, class of 2000. As a result, Ms. Longdon has been involved with SOCSA since 1996, when she joined as a Freshman high school student at Dana Hills.

Ms. Longdon double-majored in theatre and voice, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television. She recently earned her Master of Arts in Education from Chapman University and a secondary credential in English Language Arts.

Some past UCLA stage credits include Madeline True in the West Coast Premier of The Wild Party and Sheila in 60's rock musical “Hair”, under the direction of Mel Shapiro. In her spare time, Brittany records demo tracks for up and coming musicians and just filmed a commercial for Svedka Vodka.
