The South Orange County School of the Arts Foundation and Honorary Chair Mary Frome cordially invite you to attend Opera Celebration! at the beautiful M. Lee Court inside The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.

This is SOCSA's Fifth Annual All-Orange County Opera Night Invitational Concert Fundraising Gala, featuring select talented and award-winning young artists. Opera Night is the SOCSA Foundation's annual fundraising gala event and you will not only get an amazing night of food, drink and entertainment, but you'll be supporting the SOCSA Academy.

SOCSA's Opera Night Mission Statement is to:

  • Provide a leadership role in arts education for Orange County high school students, building future audiences for our local Opera companies while shaping and enriching lives in the present.

  • Promote a better understanding of Opera as a multi-faceted art form, of its contributions to our history, and of its many influences in our present day lives.

  • Offer a venue to showcase the developing talents of SOCSA and other Orange County high school students, while facilitating audience development for our local Opera Houses and promoting Opera itself as a powerful entertainment genre.

    Opera Night will have for 2 performances this year. The first night will be Opera Night at Casa Romantica on Friday, March 21, 7:00pm. This first performance will be a wonderful night of opera in the enchanting setting of historical Casa Romantica! Tickets are $15.00 and $12.50 for students and will be sold to the public directly from Casa Romantica. Please purchase your tickets for the Friday night event early, as seating is limited. For advance ticket sales for SOCSA families and friends for the Friday night show only, please call the Casa Romantica office at 949-498-2139 ext. 10 for credit card reservations (tickets will not be sold online for this Friday night performance). Tickets will also be sold at the door.

    SOCSA Foundation and Casa Romantica are long standing community partners and we thank the Casa board and executive staff for this great opportunity for these talented High School and Alumni students to again perform in the beautiful setting of the Casa.
